Individual Counseling- Method of treating behavioral health and substance abuse issues using face-to-face, interaction between a mental health professional and consumer with the goal to promote emotional or psychological change to alleviate problems. In a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life challenges or childhood trauma, to dealing with depression or anxiety, to simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge. A client and therapist may work together for as few sessions or as long as several years, depending on the client’s unique needs and personal goals for therapy.

Family Therapy or Family Counseling is designed to address face to face interaction between a mental professional on specific issues that affect the psychological health of the family, such as major life transitions or mental health conditions. It may be used as the primary mode of treatment or as a complementary  approach..The goal is to facilitate emotional, psychological or behavioral changes and promote successful communication and understanding.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services are designed to prepare clients to function as actively, adaptively, and independently in society as possible and appropriate. The service assists clients strengthen, restore and/or develop the necessary individual skills, abilities and environmental supports to improve their personal, social, family, occupational/educational lives, and overcome the isolation and withdrawal experienced. Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services are individualized and directly related to the client’s strengths, needs, level of functioning, and preferences. These services help the clients identify, cope with, or eliminate functional deficits and interpersonal barriers created by their disabilities, and address their short and long-term goals.

Case Management PremierBHTS offers Case Management services for consumers (Adult, Child and/or Family) who require planned linkage, advocacy, and referral assistance to outside agencies and services. Case Management is utilized to facilitate integration and recovery in the community. Case Managers utilize a strengths based model in the provision of this service. We offer support in the process of accessing computers, paperwork for initiating or renewing Insurance, food stamps, etc. We can assist with community resources such as food banks, clothes closets, utility services, medical services, and seasonal support i.e., summer camps, back to school, Christmas, and other holidays.

Job Placement This program provides job placement, on site job training for a limited time, and follow up services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Individuals work with an employment team to develop a job within the community which is consistent with the individual's capabilities and interests
